A few new items for me this week. A Mac 3/8 female to 1/2 male adapter, 9/16 Mac combination wrench and a pair ow Wilde snap ring pliers. I’m building out another Frankenstein set of SAE wrenches, a couple of Wrights, SKs, Mac, & Bonney. I may throw in a Snappy in for good measure. I really like the Wilde. Look to be good quality, had the USA stamp, 
and were very reasonably priced.

The business end of those looks pretty darn good....6.5" Carlyle pliers.
Went for the wera advent calendar.... thinking of the hazet as well..... a few pics of a hazet I got a few years ago advent and couple other wera sets... good stuff.

OMG thanks for reminding me to get the Wera Advent Calendar. I totally forgot about it. Nice bottle opener this year. I don't open mine till Chanukah... only because I can't wait for Christmas
No... no point no kids me and my wife we already got what we wanted a bathroom remodeling and a new tv....

Finally picked up some new wire wheels for my third block grinder:
These are Weiler, .0118" brass and .014" steel, both stamped "Made in USA". Brass one wasn't cheap, but it's the real deal. They seem to run well balanced and don't fling wires out like the cheapies. Very happy with these so far.
Next up, I finally splurged on a new garage broom:
Really nice Gordon Brush branded, US-made w/polypropylene bristles and all steel handle. Again, not cheap but top-notch quality and will probably be the last one I buy for the garage for a very long time.

Picked up this Brown and Sharpe perma sine magnetic chuck this weekend at and estate sale. I intend on using only the chuck part but cleaning the rest of it (sine plates) up for future use. Price was definitely right .. cleaned the surface rust and more TLC should bring it back to life. The magnet is fairly strong..
A friend visited our neighbors to the north and brought me back this
I have a couple of these, they sell them at Princess Auto (kind of HF equivalent in Canada). Really great feeling hammers. PA also sells Bondhus hex keys, and a selection of Lisle specialty automotive tools. Kind of nice to see amongst the sea of cheap tools.

Yeah I stopped in there a month or two back to pick up a set of their micro torx drivers but they were made in China.

If you look at them on the website, you can check out what other stores have them in stock. I know a few of the individual torx drivers were red tagged... like T5 & T8

Eh, this one is 40 min away and the next closest one is over 3 hours away. I don't NEED them, but I like having actual drivers sometimes rather than bits in a driver for when you need clearance.
I have Moras stashed everywhere. Can’t beat em. If you do beat them just buy another.Grabbed a new 1/2" mid torque from JDTCO when they had them on their deal of the day for $179.
Also got one of their boots to go with it.
Some Knipex goodness
These are the 6" versions. Honestly didn't need it but wanted to just work towards completing the set.
The 7" pliers wrench. The 10" ones feel massive to me, and I see this one getting a lot more use.
Another pair of Klein shears. I think when it comes to shears and linemans, Kleins > Knipex.
Got this Milwaukee lantern for a camping trip. Highly recommend. It worked fantastic and this thing barely sips battery life. There is a USB charging port on the back for phones, lights, etc. You can also rotate the top cap to change between 360 deg of light or focus it to 180deg light.
New Snap On high vis hard handle in 1/4". I am really digging the high vis...
1/4" anvil to 1/4" hex for my other small hard handle
End result. Not the most compact bit ratchet you can find, but for general use it's been great.
Small indexing prybar from SO. I've had these on my wishlist for a while, and you know how it goes once you pay your account down...
Got these on ebay for like $20. These feel super stout and the deal made them a better value than the Japanese KTC versions. There is a 10mm hex on the back side, and a koken nut grip socket has enough holding power to latch onto these. Putting these on the end of an extension with a koken nut grip socket does work.
Needed a tape measure for a tool bag I'm building out. Figured I would give these a try.
Koken zeal super tiny 1/4" drive sockets on their new fancy rail. The rail and the sockets are extremely nice. The rail was "free" with my socket purchase from my dealer.
Got these for the aforementioned camping trip. Incredible knife for the price point. This was $15.90 shipped and made in Sweden..even the sheath. Heard a lot of great things, and these lived up to the hype.

My experiences/favor of Wera is hit or miss. I think some of their tools like the joker wrenches are gimmicky, but other tools like their rapidaptor bit holders are absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately their 1/4" to 1/4" hex adaptor doesn't use the same mechanism as this style. The hex versions are hands down the best tool in this category in my opinion. You don't need to pull the collar back to lock them in place, and there is no forward/aft movement regardless of bit style.
I wanted to get a particular shape trim panel tool. It was $13 for the Snap On rebranded Bojo. This entire set was on sale for $6 on Amazon. Oddly enough, this has to be one of the best trim panel tool sets I've ever gotten. Weird, but I can't complain.

I like that larger soft face, I'll definitely be getting more
$30 Canadian so about $24 American for mine
The good thing is, those are not highly sought after tools. They will probably still be there next time you visit.
Don't forget to check the clearance section too.
I have no need for a triangle box, but for some reason I have always wanted one.

That would make them more like "Northern Tool" than "Harbor Freight". Northern Tool actual sells, and stocks, some high quality tools amongst the sea of cheap ****. Harbor Freight = all cheap ****.
