A couple minutes of my time. How much did they charge you to return your Fortress?
You will love that Snap-on cotter pin tool. I have a couple of older ones with the old style handles and use the hell out of them, but seldom on actual cotter pins.![]()
I have the EXACT same one I saved the from the scrap bin at work, yours looks in real good shapeSo after a day of browsing the yard sales and almost coming home empty handed, I stumbled on this for $40. Didn’t have a need for it but I’m sure I’ll find some use for it..![]()

Where'd you end up swapping it out at?Warranties a long broken ratchet that I couldn’t find a rebuild kit for, I’d rather have an American unit but I’ll give it a try, home use so it won’t get a hard life,

Lowes, wasn't happy that they needed an ID but I suppose doing it on line would give them the same, incoming spam.Where'd you end up swapping it out at?
A functional tool is better then a broke tool.![]()

I WANT!!!! Lol. Wonder if they make the long version? I need the long version.
I havnt seen any of the longs, I wanted the power blue pry bars, but they weren’t available to order so I ended up ordering black ones haha, I’ll still be looking for the blue ones thoughI WANT!!!! Lol. Wonder if they make the long version? I need the long version.
Yeah I was actually surprised the shape it was in given what else is for sale around the area. A buddy of mine has a 2 ton arbor also and says he prefers to press small bearings with one of these vs. using his 20 Ton press.I have the EXACT same one I saved the from the scrap bin at work, yours looks in real good shape
I keep this one around for the same exact reason. Sometimes you need to “feel” the work as you’re pressing something into place. You get that from an arbor pres, but you don’t from a 20 ton hydraulic press.A buddy of mine has a 2 ton arbor also and says he prefers to press small bearings with one of these vs. using his 20 Ton press.

I have to admit SO is doing some great stuff with color
Very nice, you are correct in that the older ones were made by NORBAR, as I have 2 of them. EnjoyNeeded a new torque wrench and figured I'd try one of these newer C3 Wera's Only drawback is you need to convert to Newton meters if you want to dial in an accurate or specific setting, the lbs scale is only ballparking it. I like it so far, its comfortable to grip and the scale is very easy to read and set. It has a positive nice click feel to it.
Not sure who actually makes these ones....supposedly made in Taiwan, Think the older Wera's were made by Norbar.

Same I want the pry bars too. I want the torque wrench as well but nothing seems to be available on the website in this color anymore. I need some stubby screwdrivers too wish they made them in this color. My dealer wasn’t able to find part numbers for anything either so I’m wondering if they are having a hard time making this color?I havnt seen any of the longs, I wanted the power blue pry bars, but they weren’t available to order so I ended up ordering black ones haha, I’ll still be looking for the blue ones though
I love those CK “Classic” screwdrivers, and the striking cap versions with square shanks are the toughest of the range.

How do you like that bottom box/how has it been holding up? I've been eyeing it but haven't pulled the trigger. I've got 2 craftsman combo sets and a powerkraft roller/kennedy top box that are just getting too full and hard to organize.

I like it. Very nice quality for the money in my opinion. Everyone in the shop wished they had one instead of their fancy boxes. My only complaint is not enough variety of drawers but with the add ons I’ve been able to work around that. Wish I had gotten a bigger one haha. How do you like that bottom box/how has it been holding up? I've been eyeing it but haven't pulled the trigger. If you can hold out long enough, or shop around a bit, you might find the shorter bar in black.Bought these Hyper Tough (Wilde) pry bars on Walmart.com, like half the price of what they are in store. All three for $31 and some change... Only gripe is one is red handled, lol.

Had no immediete use for them, other than they where cheap... Ended up using them today to pry/remove some wet foam out from underneath a boat center console.![]()
