Christmas tools. Thanks mom and dad

It seems decent.Let me know your opinion, I have it in my basket for a long time, (the price is what drives me back, although if I buy it in the US the price is quite good even paying the shipping, it would be half of what I it would cost here in Spain).
Those look nice. I just canāt bring myself to buy them for the prices they want. Now all my ratchets that I buy are Snap-on and Capri. I still use my Craftsman gunmetal with my oil filter claw to pull off oil filters sometimes. If I received them as a gift absolutely Iād use them lol.My Christmas present from my 2 little brothers. I actually asked for these, had nothing else currently on my wish list, & I'd probably never buy these myself. Even though I asked for these it was kind of a surprise. My brother told me Lowes cancelled the order saying they are backordered even though the website says in stock & available for pick up or delivery. So I thought I wasn't getting them. Turns out they ordered them from Ace Hardware. Came from Ace in a huge box & that's what my brothers wrapped so I totally did not expect the ratchets to be in the box.
I'm so over Craftsman & I'm not a fan of any of the new SB&D Craftsman stuff (sorry Blake TCG & others). I certainly don't need anymore ratchets. The thick & sealed heads were a turn off for me. But I love single diagonal knurling as I machine that knurling myself on stuff that I make. So basically I just liked the look of these & is why I wanted them. They are fine tooth though, not sure how many, haven't looked it up yet.
Surprisingly I also don't have any decent 1/2" drive ratchets since I rarely use em, I only own an old Husky USA 1/2" & a HF 1/2" extendable ratchet. My 1/2" sockets get used only with impacts & breaker bars or an adapter with a 3/8" ratchet.
Examples of the single diagonal knurling I do on Ti.

Yup I hear ya, that's one of the reasons why I have no interest in SB&D Craftsman, their prices, but there are other reasons too. But I like these & I'm happy to own them since they were a gift and didn't cost me my own money. Those look nice. I just canāt bring myself to buy them for the prices they want. That is really very pretty knurling! What are those pieces? My Christmas present from my 2 little brothers. Hi. how much do you sell the ice picks for? How big are they?My Christmas present from my 2 little brothers. Thank you!
First ones are titanium ice picks that I used to make & sell.
Second one is a spear or javelin or .... the name will come later, a one off that someone contacted me & asked to make from them. All he requested was that it be titanium, around 30" long, & sharp. This is what I came up with. I decided to make it 2 pieces that threads together to give it more purpose. The blotchy looking tip, as well as on my ice pics, is carbidizing that I added to give it a bit of extra wear resistance (in theory). The owner seemed to be very happy with what I made for him, I never asked what he wanted it for but after he received it he told me, "in case you were wondering, it's for killing zombies". So I then started calling it the Zombie Killing Spear.

I used to sell them for just under $100 ea. But that was years ago when material costs were cheaper & I made multiples at a time. Haven't made any in some years except for the two in post 55811. Those I made a lil over a year ago & were gifts. Actually, I haven't really made anything since before the pandemic hit & now that I have much less free time now.Hi. how much do you sell the ice picks for? How big are they?
Thank you! They are all grade 5 (6AL4V), it's all I have & I've never got to play with any other grades yet. What grade Titanium are you working with?
Beautiful machining!

Don't know why but I love those Pica pencils, just bought 2 more not too long ago. Not that it matters but I noticed they changed the design a bit from the 1st one have (just cosmetic though).PICA 3030 pencil
I thought Channellock had a patent on that blue colorNOS Fuller 7ā Linesman of fleabay. Finish is really nice, smooth action similar to old craftsman bf japan...

I think there's on larger at the tool supply house. An 80 maybeI'm a huge fan of those Wiha dead blows and I'm surprised that they aren't more popular on GJ. I bought mine ~10 years ago and they were made in Germany. I think I have 30, 40, 50, 60mm.
Does anyone know if Wiha makes these?
