@corn chip I just needed a 3x21 due to existing belts. I’ll probably get a Metabo and either take this one to the lake or give it to one of the kids.
I’m not a first responder so I’m not speaking for them but I do see them on the scene of all kinds of emergencies. Never hurts to be prepared.Curious as to the uses of an impact like that on a fire truck/ emergency scene?
Not to mention machinery and equipment extrication. Whether it be farm machinery on the rural setting or in a person caught in a piece of machinery in a factory setting. Sometimes, you have to think quickly outside the box. Any tool that helps you do that job faster (Three times in 18 months we needed to change tires and had to do it using a combi tool as a jack and manually taking the lug nuts off and back on. Once on the shoulder of I-10 at night, so speed would have made it much safer. And any tool on the truck can also be used in the station. As far as other uses on scene, you never know what you might need.

The us only got around 700 some odd cars for those two years combined and if they’re turbo those numbers are drastically low. A 95 turbo just sold on BAT for like 60k a week or two agoWhat drives the price up for 94-95 models?

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords? Some new sockets from Lowes. Needed the 16 to fill in one of my trays at home. The 11mm 1/2 impact will fill in my rail in my cart at work. Probably won’t get used but good to have I actually have needed a 1/2 drive 7/16 deep impact once working on a Kenworth once so I figured this will work if needed and I have that 7/16 in impact too. The 16mm will be good for my Ford stuff.
A lot of the mid-late 90s ones used the 16mm for drain plugs. Also the nut to adjust the power steering box too. Actually one of the engines in the modern Escapes uses a 16mm plug too because I ran into one the other day first oil change and a 16mm plug. My 1994 Ford Econoline uses a 16mm plug. You could use a 5/8 too I tend to flop back and forth from which one I use lol. Also used on GM stuff occasionally too but not as much as Ford.Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords?
My dad had a red 88 4age NA 5 speed when I was younger, he got it all cleaned back up and looking factory, found the correct wheels someone had taken off and he blasted and painted them, it had low mileage on it. I always loved that car, as I got older and got my license and got into cars I always bugged him about letting me buy it if he ever sold it, he offered to give me every car he's ever gotten rid of.......except that one, in fact 18 year later he gave me my grandma's old golf yesterday, I'll always dream of having that car. A local shop to me driver motorsports gets some shipped in every once in a while but it's always 2nd gen. I worked with a Toyota tech a few years ago that got a deal on a 87 supercharged that had the motor out and had to rebuild it was cool to see my childhood dream car in that part of my careerThe first gens aw11 are getting very hard to find. Gen 2’s sw20 are still a good bit but it’s usually NA cars that are clean otherwise a well sorted turbo model can fetch 15-20k and well beyond for 94-95 models
Bmw uses 16mm. I just used them on underbody brace and engine mountsInteresting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords?
VW tooInteresting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords?
Curious where you've come across them on VW? I am looking for an excuse to fill that spot in my racks.VW too![]()
Yup. Having just done the suspension on my Mini, they use 16mm too...Bmw uses 16mm. I just used them on underbody brace and engine mounts
A4 chassis sway bar end links. (MK4 Jetta/ Golf) I think the VE injection pump lines are 16 as well but don't quote me.Curious where you've come across them on VW? I am looking for an excuse to fill that spot in my racks.
Suspension, engine mounts, etc. Working on euro stuff in the 00s in Europe, I saw 16mm so regularly I still carry a 16mm wrench in my road box.Curious where you've come across them on VW? I am looking for an excuse to fill that spot in my racks.

I want to say ford uses 16mm, i have a few and i think i remember using them on a couple cat excavators. I’m looking at some wear on one wrench and socket so the size does get used, maybe not alot.Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords?

Keep your receipt. This is one of the Milwaukee tools I regret buying and never use.Saw this in HD this morning, figured I’d give it a try, says 220 ft lbs, seems pretty good for a rt angle ratchet. It has some weight to the the head, really dwarfs the impact driver. Can’t wait to try it!
I tend to agree. Mine gathers dust. It might just be me getting old but, I don't like its balance. If I remember correctly, the torque test channel found that it made less than the 220 advertised.Keep your receipt. This is one of the Milwaukee tools I regret buying and never use.
I think i would be better off with an extended reach cordless ratchet but, that's just me.
I have no tool buying regrets, lol I’ll try it out, we do a lot of tight quaters work so it might come in handy.Keep your receipt. This is one of the Milwaukee tools I regret buying and never use.

Check out the Makita variable speed 3X21. I have one and love it.

I hope that's true. Two magnetic trays that were $1.99 each. Got some of the last ones that say Pittsburgh on them as they have gotten so cheap now they don’t even put the name on them.
Don't tell no one...Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a 16mm. Where are they used on the Fords?
I swear... I use them ALL the time. I have a serious set of different styles. All repackaged so it's easier than "On that Wire".I keep putting it off but I really need to buy one of these.
Was tempted with that one... I went with individual portability. Bring the thread checker to the task as some things are not movable. Your setup would be GREAT in a parts setup that didn't have a lot of labels...
