Not-so-sloppy seconds from Amazon… Cost me $45 because it was “used” 😂

More Amazon sloppy seconds, this one thanks to @vwpieces - this one arrived dry and not broken!

Digital calipers from HD - I wanted some that measured fractions of an inch, but not in stupid 128ths of an inch like all the ones on Amazon.

Last thing that came in today was my Icon touch-up paint from Harbor Freight.

Anybody want to guess ?
i knew what it was. it is much like mine. it does not get used every day but when you need it there is nothing like it. because of the ability to raise the drill motor so high it is very handy to use on a heavy table. mine is most often used stuck to my welding table, punching large whole through odd shaped and large items that can be clamped to the top of my table.. i started with a basic set of annular cutters and added in the sizes. i now have most sizes by 1/16 from 7/16 to about 1 1/14.

No really a tool, per se, but I ordered one of these cheap auto fastener kits on Amazon to have. I think I’ll get one more kit of the Christmas tree style push pins in larger sizes to round it out.

That is a must have assortment, keep forgetting to buy it, thanks for the reminder!

Got this off of Ebay. No real use for it other than it's a functional wrench and it will look nice on the little vintage tool shelf I will be building in my shop. I also though it was pretty neat so I wasted a few dollars on it.

I figure it was a wrench made to adjust something on a piece of Walker-Turner equipment like a lathe or a milling machine. The box end is smaller than the open end so it fit on two different fasteners.

Looks like an old Ford Spark Plug Wrench.

Sorry for the crappy pics, tips on both wiha flat blades broke. First one was opening a paint can, second was impacting an axle nut.
Got a Hazet impact screwdriver set myself, I used the flat blades to chisel a wall in a kitchen renovation, no visible damage. Breaking when opening a paint can is just ridiculous...

I think they were about 25eur for the set, the wiha set is double the price..

The main reason to make this purchase was for a future welding table.

I've made the decision to attempt to buy all my tools that I want before I retire in the near future. I don't want my limited retirement budget to be spent on tools.

I've been bad lately! Snappy shows on Tuesday and tool Tuesday it was. My drivers great and always hooks it up with a discount or something free.

Stubby Torx set. Its one of those things you know you'll need eventually and its better to have on hand than to wish you did.
20220405_170647.jpg

Long Pin Punch set. I normally dont buy items like this on the truck, but he offered me a good deal and I had literally just needed them the weekend before working on the brakes on my wifes Q7. I had to sacrifice a lesser HF punch to the tool gods to get by.
20220405_170850.jpg

14.4v 1/4" Longneck Ratchet. I had been wanting one for awhile and he hooked it up as well as tossed in the greaser and cartridge for free. Adds to my growing 14.4 collection.
20220405_170408.jpg

Snap-On magnetic folding mat. I have wanted a magnetic mat for awhile now and this has great utility compared to the flat one as well as being cheaper somehow! The edges fold up and button together to make a tray to help hold non magnetic items.

20220405_171024.jpg

Some free swag he tossed in
20220405_184840.jpg

Icon Crowsfoot metric set. HF offers $15 in HF cash to card holders during their birthday month which I used to help purchase these. I ran into a use two weekends ago for a 15mm crowsfoot and barely managed to get by with a 15mm stubby. There it was, the moment I needed it and didnt have it so I was on a mission. We'll see how well they hold up, but for $40 I cant complain.
20220405_170527.jpg

Wera Micro Big Pack. Its been on the Amazon watch list for awhile and Camelcamelcamel alerted me it dropped to ~$100 this week, lowest its been in awhile. This completes my microdriver collection. Paired with the Wiha 75965 bit driver set I think I have every possible angle covered when it comes to micro fasteners.

A unbranded Taiwanese made 48 tooth 1/2 drive ratchet from Princess Auto. I needed a longer one to complement my Proto. Next a Leupold branded Wera T15 I couldn’t leave the store without it,

Very nice - the 1/4" long neck is the only Snap-on powered ratchet I haven't replaced with a Milwaukee. it's an excellent ratchet.

Question on the Wera pack - I've been eyeing those for a while, but I have my all drivers laid out in a thin drawer in my tool box. Does that pouch lay flat, or does it want to curl closed? Thanks!

Thanks. I cant wait to use it haha.

So as you can slightly see in the photo it does want to curl closed a bit. It comes as a roll that velcros together so it has some elasticity to that shape. That being said it does have velcro at multiple points on the back and Wera includes a strip or cuttable stick on velcro so you can velcro that pack down to the bottom of a drawer relatively flat and remove as needed. When my new cart shows up thats what I will be doing with it. I imagine if you unloaded the wrap and compressed it under something heavy for a bit it would flatten out relatively well as well.

On a roll this week, gearing up to install a new roll cage and metal fab work on my 87 GN. I ordered the new rolling tool box when it was on sale and it just came in. Currently shopping a tubing bender and dies. Now just need to learn how to use the welders in the background lol!

Tekton impact adapter. 3/8" female x 1/2" male.

All of my impact sockets are 1/2" which was fine when I was running an IR 231. Now that I'm using a Milwaukee mid-torque in 3/8", I could either buy a new set of sockets or the adapter.

Locally the only option has been as part of a set that also included some 3/4" drive adapters that I would never use.

Another damn I need to get me a 3D printer already. MarkerLock, made in USA, strong magnetic base. Not sure if it will actually be handy for me yet but I do find myself fumbling around for the marker I need in my bench drawer. Maybe a gimmick, hopefully not. One for the garage, one for my room.

Since they store tip down maybe now I might not have to use my SR2000 much anymore. (<-- joke tool I made but does actually work well  )

Returned the Fluke socket tester I got recently & picked up the Klein one. I like this one so much better even though it requires batteries. But because it does it has a hold feature which will be handy for confined areas. Has quick glance green & red indicators. Display shows voltage & what the fault is rather than having to decifer indicator combos to figure out what the fault is.

Some 8" extension cords. Yes you read that right, 8 inch shorty cords. Years ago I wanted/needed something like these but didn't think they existed. So I never bothered to even search for them & the cost to make my own was not worth it. I still laugh looking at them but they'll come in handy for me.

Don't know your use case, but I use a ton of these things -- they come in really handy when you have transformer plugs or odd-shaped plugs going into surge protectors or UPS systems or even just tight areas. Great product.

Oh, I like that MarkerLock gizmo, and they have one for Milwaukee's InkZall as well. Damn it.

I ended up ordering through Amazon, ships & sold by MarkerLock/JSR, was a couple of bucks cheaper than others. Plus it shipped from Palm Springs so I got them in 1 day.

Here's another place I was gonna order from. https://portabandpro.com/markerlock/#
