Weber-Knapp (Jamestown, NY) and Eska (Chub, Czechoslovakia) bicycle wrenches

Funny. Murray Street is a few blocks north of the WTC in Manhattan . Of course the NYC area was a manufacturing center 100+ years ago, but most don't realize this. And I realize that was just the HQ, but Port Jervis is only ~90 miles from Murray St

Ran across the Snap On guy by my house. Since I can’t get one to come to my work. Picked up a few things. Needed a 15/16 ratcheting wrench for the track brakes. My Kobalt broke when I fell 3 or 4 feet what a pita to replace from Lowes.

Already returned, refund received couple min ago. I'm sure they will try to pawn them off to another.
And the 19mm (middle) is the one I really wanted.

Klein circuit breaker finder. Local HD had it for $50, Amazon $43. But Amazon had a combo with the accessory kit for $50. Don't know if I'll ever need the acc kit but it costs $17 by itself so I bought the combo from Amazon.

Pretty cool that the transmitter can be stored in the receiver handle.

The transmiter doubles as a socket tester which kinda made the other Klein socket tester I got last week redundant. But then I found this nice fitted case that has a spot for it too so I'll keep it. Damn case stinks like crazy though. Sitting in the garage open right now hoping the foam or whatever off gasses.

A couple of chemical resistant fluid dispensers. Pretty nice, pretty thick HDPE, nice brass valves, made in USA. Pretty damn expensive though at $40ea but I've been wanting something like these so I'm happy with them. Got the smaller size, don't need the bigger ones & those cost way more than I would pay. Gonna use em for acetone & denatured alcohol.

Getting ready to do some more laminated wood flooring in the house so I got this Tekton mallet since I broke the wood handle on my el cheapo one. I already have the dual face Tekton mallet, but who doesn’t need more hammers? Also got another 6-in-1 Tekton with phillips bits to keep in the Mrs.’ vehicle for bulb changes, air filter, etc.

What brand, and where did you get them? I've been looking for something similar. Currently using those cheap flimsy bottles from Walmart

How do you like the comfort grip handles? All my Knipex are the regular dipped handles, which I quite like, especially for fitting in the racks in my drawer.
For larger pliers, and for pliers that I'm really going to grip hard on, I prefer the comfort grips - they are MUCH easier on my hands. For smaller pliers and things that require more feel, I prefer the dipped grips because they're slim. My only requirement is that the dipped grip be textured, like Knipex. For dirty (automotive) work, I can't stand the slippery vinyl grips. On the other hand, I actually prefer the slippery vinyl grips when doing AC electrical work, because those environments are usually dusty and I find the dust actually improves the grip on the smooth vinyl handles.

Walked in to just buy some more shop towels. Walked out with these extras.

To make it even worse, one of the employees saw me eyeballing the U.S. General 44" roller and top chest. Before I knew what was happening he was checking if they had them in stock in blue. Fortunately I was able to remain calm and get out of the store before any more money was spent.

Made by Justrite, p/n 14004. Got them from Amazon, other places wanted $60 for them. Looks like I got the last 2, Amazon is out of stock right now (just not showing 1 day prime for me now) but the price is still $40. (Picture shows the larger size but that's incorrect) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PGRNMO/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The larger size is p/n 14010. Justrite also has some other models but cost more.

Keep in mind the valves are not pumps, they are just valves. You depress them to open but you have to tilt the container for fluid to flow out. Not sure about their other models that look to be pumps.

Been on a bit of a kick lately. Car was giving me a bit of a coolant smell (it is an Audi after all :ROFLMAO: ) which gave me the perfect excuse to grab the Astro coolant pressure test kit and see if I had a leak. I do btw, water pump, yay.

Snappy had these stubby hex bit sockets on promo, ended up getting one at cost and the other $20 off. Shaves at least 1" off the set I already have.

I think you will find that Tekton handle is more comfortable to use for repetitive hammering than a plain wood handle

Carefully usually a good reason it's open Box probably alot of beat up returns

And a lot of great deals, much of what I have bought was new in the box.

Yup, same here. I've been pretty lucky. So far 95%+ of what I got from AWD has been brand new, sometimes the original packaging not really even damaged at all & I can be picky. Usually just damaged packaging but no damage to the product at all.

There were a few times where I received a completely different item due to what I assume being mislabeled by an AMZ employee when there was no original box but with free returns those kind of issues don't bother me & are worth the try.

I've seen people get stuff that were clearly used returns or them ********* who return completely diffetent items but again so far I've been lucky & haven't got any of those yet.

Amazon Warehouse. There's a drop down for it in the search bar as well as a link at the bottom of their website. Someone posted the link recently above in this thread. Also in the Hot Deals section here on GJ there's a thread where people post the deals they find. But don't look there, it may deplete your wallet. :D

No doubt I agree. Its nice to replace junk with something nice. I mentioned that I had the dual face one, black rubber on one side and white non marring on the other and the comfort and quality of that one made me buy this one. Now I can just grab it and not have to worry about making sure I’m using the correct side. Made in China, but I believe Tekton is checking quality once they get them because they look and feel dang good.
