My personal preference is straight-jaw 10" locking pliers for the type of nut/screw/stud removal I encounter in working on motorcycles. I got a Milwaukee recently in that spec from Big Orange Box and am pleased with its utility.I've been renovating a building on my property to put a few motorcycles in that need work/restoration. I'm working on a second set of tools for that building. I've been all Channellock in the past, but picked up some Knipex for out there. Got some Bremen locking pliers and some hex/torx keys as well. Do I really need a full second set of tools for that building? Of course I do!

So..... will you be starting a thread?it's a joint project with my dad and some of his antiques, but the next tools will need to be Whitworth. The first project will be an Ariel Square Four, the second will be my great uncle's 1953 50th anniversary edition.

Not to be impolite, but I have to ask, why a collection of adjustable wrenches? I have probably six, but other than the 18" proto that I use on big nuts (primarily hitch balls) I avoid grabbing the others for nearly any job.Got in quite a bit of Adjustable wrenches for my collection recently

If you find yourself needing Whitworth hardware, my favorite source is "Nooky's Nuts". Even with shipping from UK to US it's usually a better deal than US suppliers.it's a joint project with my dad and some of his antiques, but the next tools will need to be Whitworth. I have those wire strippers. I haven't used them a ton, but I absolutely love them.

Squariel!
Had to have it!
I have been looking at different brands for years and never picked any up. Watched a YouTube review the other day and convinced me to try these. They seem like very good quality, looking forward to using them. My new shop needs electrical still on the fence about DIY or hiring an electrician.I have those wire strippers. Isn't Klein a copy cat here? I remember Irwin came out with something like this first.I have been looking at different brands for years and never picked any up. These four were sold a few months ago. The decision was made to whittle down the collection at my dad's shop, which is in another state. He has retired and relocated, but still has a lot of stuff in this building. He has two other custom scouts that he rides and is going to keep (I don't have pictures of those), but that's it for the Indians. While I think Indians are cool, I have no real desire or space to own them. I'm glad they went to someone who will enjoy them.Squariel!
Also- have any Indian pics to go with the merch?

My 1/4" impact is my most frequently used impact...Snappy got me, traded my old brushed screwdriver in for a brushless, the peeling overlay bothered me and I did let a little smoke out once.
And although it my be a little redundant but I picked up a 1/4” impact because I deserve it, lol.

Nice, I've got the same exact ones. Replaced the cheap Tekton I used before. Love the smaller size, perfect for my remote oil filter relocator.
i Have the bigger angled head ones and they work great. I just thought these might help with access due to their small size.Nice, I've got the same exact ones. Replaced the cheap Tekton I used before. Love the smaller size, perfect for my remote oil filter relocator.
Congratulations on the pass and the raise, amigo! That’s some good stuff going on both tool and life-wise.Kinda celebrated with new tools today since I passed my state inspection test so I’m really happy. Which also gave me another raise.
Glad to hear about the drill bits. Everyone who I knew that had them said the same thing. Pretty much a must as a technician. I wish they weren’t made in China though but if they do the job that’s what matters.Congrats Blake, thats great news about the inspection certification and the raise. Those drill bits are awesome. I had to drill some bracket holes for brake lines in my new Chevelle frame and a buddy brought over his set. They are AMAZING! I’m trying to destroy the thousand drill bits I have now so I can have an excuse to buy a set.
