I've been renovating a building on my property to put a few motorcycles in that need work/restoration. I'm working on a second set of tools for that building. I've been all Channellock in the past, but picked up some Knipex for out there. Got some Bremen locking pliers and some hex/torx keys as well. Do I really need a full second set of tools for that building? Of course I do!

My personal preference is straight-jaw 10" locking pliers for the type of nut/screw/stud removal I encounter in working on motorcycles. I got a Milwaukee recently in that spec from Big Orange Box and am pleased with its utility.

it's a joint project with my dad and some of his antiques, but the next tools will need to be Whitworth. The first project will be an Ariel Square Four, the second will be my great uncle's 1953 50th anniversary edition.

The Panhead is beautiful - the horn, tool box, solo seat, and especially the white flat kick pedal and handgrips.

But the Ariel.... I'm in love!

If you find yourself needing Whitworth hardware, my favorite source is "Nooky's Nuts". Even with shipping from UK to US it's usually a better deal than US suppliers.

There's also British Tools and Fasteners in the US. I bought King **** wrenches, Koken sockets, and various Whitworth tap and dies from them and they were very good about warrantying the King **** wrenches when chrome starting peeling not long after I bought them,

ICON-branded double box end ratcheting flex heads. I don’t particularly care for HF, but with the Father’s Day 20% off coupon they came in about the same price as the Mountain-branded but with a warranty. I’ve heard they tend to break so you want a warranty but didn’t want to spend $340+ for the Matco branded ones.

I have those wire strippers. I haven't used them a ton, but I absolutely love them.
I have been looking at different brands for years and never picked any up. Watched a YouTube review the other day and convinced me to try these. They seem like very good quality, looking forward to using them. My new shop needs electrical still on the fence about DIY or hiring an electrician.

Isn't Klein a copy cat here? I remember Irwin came out with something like this first.

Squariel!

Also- have any Indian pics to go with the merch?
These four were sold a few months ago. The decision was made to whittle down the collection at my dad's shop, which is in another state. He has retired and relocated, but still has a lot of stuff in this building. He has two other custom scouts that he rides and is going to keep (I don't have pictures of those), but that's it for the Indians. While I think Indians are cool, I have no real desire or space to own them. I'm glad they went to someone who will enjoy them.

sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread

Snappy got me, traded my old brushed screwdriver in for a brushless, the peeling overlay bothered me and I did let a little smoke out once.
And although it my be a little redundant but I picked up a 1/4” impact because I deserve it, lol.

Not a "new" tool but kind of new to me. I sorted this metric craftsman set out of a mixed box I had packed when we were cleaning my great grandparent's house.

First ever Matco Wednesday at my shop. Orange magnetic pickup tool. Blue 3/8 medium sized ratchet. I love their locking flex head designs. Knipex 10 inch pliers wrench. Some “free” air tool oil. Guy forgot to ring it up I pointed it out he said well buddy that’s yours then since I made a mistake and you just spent a lot of money lol. Got some drill bits too which are much needed these are great I’ve used my coworkers many times. And a tire gauge because my Milton crapped out long ago. I prefer a analog tire gauges but this one was there, cheaper than Snap-on and orange so I said I’ll take it. Our dealer is a really nice guy and has a lot better stocked truck than our Snap-on guy. This is the guys second day in the franchise he was a tech for years. He promised me he would get pocket screwdrivers soon because you know I asked for them LOL. Our shops are so large that he dedicates Wednesday to us. Kinda celebrated with new tools today since I passed my state inspection test so I’m really happy. Which also gave me another raise.

Nice, I've got the same exact ones. Replaced the cheap Tekton I used before. Love the smaller size, perfect for my remote oil filter relocator.
i Have the bigger angled head ones and they work great. I just thought these might help with access due to their small size.

Congrats Blake, thats great news about the inspection certification and the raise. Those drill bits are awesome. I had to drill some bracket holes for brake lines in my new Chevelle frame and a buddy brought over his set. They are AMAZING! I’m trying to destroy the thousand drill bits I have now so I can have an excuse to buy a set.

Glad to hear about the drill bits. Everyone who I knew that had them said the same thing. Pretty much a must as a technician. I wish they weren’t made in China though but if they do the job that’s what matters.
