Dont you 🇺🇸 guys pay any import taxes when buying from overseas?
My tool purchases from Amazon Global Store UK have always included a small tax/fee along with a free shipping option. My most recent order is a Knipex 10" Cobra plier for $32.34 + $1.94 tax/fee.

I also got a very good deal on these chrome finish soft grip Knipex mechanics pliers: $29.60 + tax/fee

Knipex 38 35 200 Mechanics Pliers 7,87" with soft handle/-curved tip - Needle Nose Pliers - Amazon.com

Dangit! I had given up on my fantasies of moving from normal grip 10" Cobras to comfort grip, even took them off my Amazon "Cool tools" list, but at that price...

GJ is a dangerous place!

As for needle noses with two bends in them, I can resist. I do fine with the straight, 30 degree bends, and also have the 80 degree bends that hardly get used. I'm sure the two-benders get used by people who have them, though!

I looked again and there was a tax of $3.69. I placed the order for the pliers with other stuff from Amazon US so didn’t really pay attention to it.

A DeWalt 1/2" drill, 120V, 10A, variable speed 0-1250 rpm. Bought at Amazon a few weeks ago. Made in Mexico.

Will mostly be using it with this 3" x 24" soil auger. I might get a 4" x 28" auger next year.

I’ve been looking for complete set of chrome sockets - stumbled Accross OLSA tools

I wanted a complete set but they were out of stock on a few so They will be resupplied in November … I bought what they had all 6 pt. I have a mix match of sets and wanted every peg to have a socket on it.

I’m just a home owner that has a few toys & I’m not using these to make $$$

Also got a m12 3/8 impact to keep in my can am for tire swaps batteries match the m12 tire inflator

now In the can am I just have the m12 set up and have a few extra batteries

We run a few 500 miles trips mostly off road so space and weight are always considered

Needed something to crimp 8ga wire, well I do have a pair of wire strippers that can but not confidently since the crimper is below the pivot which I don't like to use. Now that I have used these crimpers for 8ga I definitely wouldn't trust that other one. What a big difference!

I wanted to get one of those ratcheting crimpers with changeable dies. But I'll probably only ever use just one pair of dies. So I got this IWiss ratcheting crimper. Normally I would spend more money on something I will use often but I have an IWiss PEX clamp crimper & it's pretty decent.

I'm not a fan of crimpers that just flattens the connector. I use the dimple type that are meant for non-insulated connectors even with insulated connectors. I'm also not a fan of using insulated **** connectors but if I do use em on my own stuff I'll cut the jacket off & cover with heatshrink.

Pretty happy with these & they were only less than $25. My only gripe is the markings are in metric, wish they were marked AWG at least on one side but whatever, before even using em I've already memorized the sizes. Works with 22awg - 6awg.

It even leaves an impression of the die size when crimping. Not that I care cause it's in metric and will get covered anyway but I thought that was kinda cool & never knew there were crimpers that did that. (8mm just happened to be the size that worked with 8ga)

3FFC80E5-C91C-4C62-8FD5-EFAD45669A2A.jpegErnst pliers racks doubled the available room in my plier drawer. drawer was completely full laying on its side with several pliers on top of each other. Also leave a gap between each rack for a free slot lol. Need Zip ties or rubber bands for spring loaded pliers. Fyi

Well, now you can buy more pliers! And definitely a few more Crescent wrenches. Harry J. Epstein's can help you with that.

What's new is old here today. Or, perhaps more aptly, what's old has been renewed. I finally got around to ordering a rebuild kit for this ~50 year-old 1/4" drive SK ratchet, and it arrived today. It's working like new once again, years after I'd quit using it due to its worn-out condition. Kinda nice.

I don't do many ball joints, but after making a really sketchy setup in my shop press, for an upper ball on a Tundra, I decided it was time. This arrived yesterday, and it may sit for a long time before it gets any use.
You're going to love this set. Believe it or not, you're going to find many uses for it. This set, in combination with the 78825 Front Wheel Bearing kit and the OTC Hub Grappler, I've used many times on lower and upper control arm bushings.

Queen City? I wonder if that means Charlotte, NC? Doesn't seem likely...

Nope!

Cincinnati, Queen of the West! Athens of the West! The Queen City... aka Porkopolis.
Queen City was Plainfield, NJ.

Plainfield was home to Walker Turner, who was owned by Cincinnati, who was owned by Kearney Trekker. The plant along South street was several blocks long.

Counterclockwise from top left:

- Cheap Trick CD for the shop
- Roloc II: Spinning Fingers of Justice
- Lenox diamond-coated cutoff wheel to replace the last one, which didn't last 1,000 cuts
- KTools wrench extender
- wheel hanger studs for the used BMW in the fleet

Center:
- Eastwood 4" vise sheet metal brake (a tool I had no idea existed until I stumbled into a 2016 page on Bob Heine's garage thread!)
