And, how do you both like it? I doubt you can get those in the US for under $2.Bought one of those last year![]()

I have a big stack of old bakeware in the shop for various uses. Mines garage sale and thrift store vintage!
Degreasing, soaking and sorting. True heros of the shop.
I just used it and it worked a treat installing the hose. The insert fits a couple hex sizes, and when you flip it over, it (apparently) fits the ring/nut on the bottom of the the tap. And, how do you both like it? I doubt you can get those in the US for under $2.

Yeah, it’s pretty big. I was pleasantly surprised at how robust it seems. I got the Milwaukee for $1.47, because the DeWalt was out of stock…Used it a few times, does what it says on the box
I was surprised by the size when it showed up from Amazon, for some reason I thought it was about half the size it actually is.
I noticed a smaller/cheaper/inferior looking Kobalt version at Lowes a few days ago.

I have quite a collection of black plastic trays from frozen food at Costco & Walmart etc. Even a couple of bus trays like they use in restaurants to clear the tables. Those are perfect for putting under motorcycle engines when you're cleaning them in the garage.I do the same with used foil pans, plastic take-out containers, etc.

I'm going to skip all the jokes that spring to mind. And there are many...
Sounds like an "I'm building a bench" thread...
It'll be in the garage thread I haven't started yet!Sounds like an "I'm building a bench" thread...![]()
100 lbs of iron, very nice! Buy once, cry once, pass it on to your grandchildrenNow I have some motivation to build the bench this is going to go on...![]()
Nice looking vise. I think you are going to like it.

Careful, the C2 has a way making benches look small. Nice color choice by the way. Is that Rustoleum Hammered Grey?
yea thats what i found weird, i know its been $799 for almost two years and the 180 is $899 in store and online. look up lincoln electric 140 at lowes and its $799. ive been wanting it for a while but couldnt pull the trigger at that price, even the flux core only 125 version is $649 and this 140 machine i got does both mig and flux core. my bet its beeing changed, the weld pack comes with alot of extras.i guess theyll take them out and raise the price on the unit.@amlv20 Those welders are listed for $589 (online) here, but no indication if that's the normal vs. sale price. There are very few to be found locally, I wonder if the model is being changed or discontinued?

Whatever grey they use. It may be a JET Wilton.Careful, the C2 has a way making benches look small. Nice color choice by the way. Is that Rustoleum Hammered Grey?
i have a 4" wilton machinist vise that's the same color.Oh, wow. That's a factory color. Crazy how similar it looks, right down to the hammered loom.
My bench is 2' x 4' but my shop is tiny so that's about all I could go. Since then that picture was taken, I've actually cut down the outriggers to narrow the footprint at the bottom and swapped the castor plates inward to shorten the length. It also allowed me to put leveling feet on.
Good to know! Who knew my resto was so accurate?i have a 4" wilton machinist vise that's the same color.

yes the 140 weld pack is sold under different names for different vendors, hd, promig, handy mig etc. they are all the same, crazy on HD to ring up for $799 at the register. i looked at it every time i was at my local HD stores and all showed $799, thats why when i saw it for $589 i jumped. i sold my forney 140 flux welder for $200 so for practically $389 i think i got a pretty damn good home welder that should last a while.Maybe there are different varieties/extras with certain ones? I just did a quick Google search, $589-ish seems to be a common price (Amazon, etc.).
Is the one at Lowe's the same as the HD model/package?
Mike
No, they are basic nut drivers. The handles fit real well in my big mitts. I use 8mm-13mm on my Can-ams.Dang, that Vessel driver looks sweet. Ratcheting?
