My department has been shut down over covid a couple of times now so I get shifted to other departments. I'm working 10hr shifts too so from when I leave for work and then get back 12 hrs is gone. I've looked at this thread but have been afraid to start corresponding because I'm a real slow typer.

This current meter kit was on display in an office in another department I was working in. If I ever get back there I'll see if there are any other maker's marks on it.

Those were the ones my family lets me display. I have a section in the utility room where I can put some of the rest of them up. Several of them are Eagle, one is stamped John Deere, the large one is a Golden Rod. I'll post more later. rIMG_5659.jpg

The shiny one is a Spezial Pressol from Germany, one of my favorites.

roverbo from Denmark and Monte from Germany have posted their Spezial Pressol oilers on pg1. There may be others but no time to look further now. I agree they are really nice ones. You sure have a good bunch of them. The John Deere must have some guys salivating.

Craftsman oiler I found today in a used building supply near me.
Part number 5582 stamped on the bottom. Looks like it has been out the weather some. Some corrosion and pitmarks on the top, handle and bottom. I’ll post this is the vintage tools section also.

That much corrosion on the top edge is not unusual for something unused indoors for long periods of time in my corner of the world.

Hello everyone,

a small 150ml (5.3 fl oz) dual valve "1 Spezial PS PESSOL" old version with soldered tin, brass, but without plastic from around the 60s
(Pressol founded 1914 by Jakob Preßl = Pressl, Germany, the P&S sign stood for Pressl & sons, still exists today)

and something I guess from the 70s to 80s with German and English description backside
"Öl Kerl twist" (oil guy twist) 150ml (5.3 fl oz) with closable (screwable) tip made of brass and plastic:

hope to get more vintage ones soon... while searching for HAZET 2160 and 2160 oil cans...

regards, Rolf

Hello again everyone,

old around 200ml (6.7 fl oz) one valve oil can with in-script "Triumph S 92" and at the bottom "D.R.P." (German: Deutsches Reichs-Patent, used 1877 - 1945) manufactured from die-cast (reservoir and lever) and brass. I couldn't find anything about the manufacturer or the product... but at classifieds also an old vise of them.

This design was used since 1914 to 1950s. The pump cannot be reached and is still firmly soldered in. But still works perfectly.
The tip is screwed on, but not for locking. The filler neck on the side has an internal screw cap.

and another older small 150ml (5.3 fl oz) "PESSOLIT" "1010/1" with plastic bottle and screw cap, brass from around the mid 1960s to end 1990s.
(Pressol founded 1914 by Jakob Preßl = Pressl, Germany). Found this as NOS.
These small 150ml ones used also by HAZET as # 2160.

I thought I had an excessive number of cans, but I see from this conversation that I'm way out done. Most of them are on shelves in the window over my workbench, and some are out in the barn. The small triangular one I bought from France. So many shapes and sizes.

Anyone know who or where this oiler was made?
It looks much like an Eagle 66 but with a different mechanism. Looking over the other photos in this thread I don't see anything similar.
Unfortunately it is unbranded

This mornings $2 estate sale find. I have never seen a cast iron
oiler before and glad I grabbed it.

Picked up a few more oilers today, surprisingly only 2 duplicates that I already had. The Eagle 33 I have but not with the bendy spout. The Maytag is in surprisingly good shape. Every time I pick up those small thumb oilers, I think there have to be more duplicates but they end up being subtly different. There are probably 50-60 thumb oilers in the collection and only about 10 are doubles.

Found this one today at the early bird flea market.

EDIT: In going through this thread form the beginning, I see that 2oolhound has a friend with a version of these that actually says, MADE IN ENGLAND, with no reference to a Continental Arms Company of New York. Link to his post here. Mine says, vaguely, and perhaps purposefully vaguely, ENGLAND, not MADE IN ENGLAND, but I am now guessing that it was indeed made in England and imported by Continental Arms Company of New York.
I’ve seen a few of these In reading through the thread but I found my own at a family estate sale this morning. I wasted no time cleaning it up and adding it to the others.

I just picked up a Golden Rod at a block sale today. I took it apart and cleaned it up a bit. Left to right a Craftsman, old Golden rod, new Golden Rods for the last two. Great collections!
