I recently finished my garage project. I had a contractor rough-in and frame it and I would do the siding. I did have the contractor start the siding and put down the starter strips. After I rounded the last corner I noticed the treated plate was very visible in the front and not in the back. Everything else is square. How big of a deal is this?

Slab may not be level, but the starter strip probably is.
If it isn't out much, you can move the starter down and cheat the siding a little as you go up.

If your build was the same height as the corner is tall he moved it up so that it would be less noticable than a gap at top. It is common unless you want a seam in corner
Is the plate being exposed going to be a problem in the future?

or cheat and paint treated lumber the same color as the siding ( i know dumb answer but hey if it works why not)
