Single Car Garages

I haven't been lucky using the search feature, but I wanted to get some ideas for my father's one-car garage renovation. Currently it's in fairly good shape for it's age... but the entire interior needs renovating pretty badly. It's just not quite as nice as an enthusiast's garage should be. Keep in mind, that he does have another garage on the property for his tools and work area. This is just for my mother's sports car.

If there are any existing single car garage threads out there, please let me know. Also, if this is a re-posted thread, I apologize. I spent a few hours searching and only found one solid build, but it's not exactly what my father had in mind.

Any help is truly appreciated.
