Been quite a while since I've updated. Had issues with tapatalk and don't use a laptop. Anyways lol

Shed is much the same.

My health has stabilised. Im still on permanent disabilty pension, but am less likely to die in the next 5 minutes lol.

I have been working through my rehab project over the last few years. With my little lad starting school, and my wife completing studies and looking to start work, school dropoffs became a priority.

The smart thing would have been to buy a small reliable car. Lol.

It took 12 months longer than I ahd promised, but I got the old girl running well enough for the school drop off.

Ill try and add a bit more chronological posts to bring up to speed, but this is where im at

Shed mostly gets used these days for cleaning and servicing bikes to try and keep me involved. I do a bit of riding and racing these days, hard on the body but good for the soul.

Pat, welcome back!! You and Lyndon are proving there's life after a health disaster tries to take you out. It appears your shed has a few tools now. I like the car and I bet your son does too. Amazing how fast they grow up. You don't have to give us big updates, just let us know how (and what) you are doing.

Yeah got myself a little lathe and a small mill.

I set myself a project to build a bike frame in steel.

It was cheaper to buy a mill and lathe to make jibs and tools than it was to buy a jig.

It was a great project and pretty successful. Unfortunately I simply haven't had the funds to keep playing with the bike frames. Hopefully now the car is sorted, I can shift back and knock a few frames up

I managed to build the carport myself through sheer ignorance and stubbornness lol.

The bike frame was a great learning experiance and I cant wait to build more.

Mostly I've been doing car stuff with lolla.

Rwd converted 3sge from a Japanese caldina. Rs200 6 speed gearbox, 4age quad throttles. Rear irs conversion using a custom chrome Molly cradle based off a narrowed Nissan item..

One of my favorite projects on lolla was the sump.

Due to the overall height of the engine, and get it fitting decently, the sump hangs supppper low.

So I made a customs stainless lower section to cut 40mm put of the depth and retain the capacity

Bendy boy exhaust was an adventure. Things were very tight around the cradle to keep ground clearance.

So hard mounting the exhaust was was the safest option...

In an adventure away from the cars, I made this for my wife 40th and made us a matching set of wedding rings (mine was misplaced during one of the hospital adventures.. )

Welcome back mate, had wondered a few times over the years how you'd been travelling. Bike frame, carport and car projects all look good!

Been the typical ups and downs medically.

There was talk for some time of a bone marrow transplat. We tried 3 times and each time it got called off due to complications

Im struggling a bit at the moment with the rest of the family moving on with life tis year. My son is at school full time and my wife is completing her studies and doing work placement. So im home alone for the weekdays now. Its taking some getting used to I guess
