The electrician don't look like he is going to show so I am doing this.
I am going to purchase 3 new outlets for the drill press and welder where nobody could by mistake plug in a 220 volt single phase stove years down the road. The one extra I don't use so that is why I am buying three and doing them all.
This is going to cost me money on something I very rare use but like I mentioned I would hate to cause harm to someone way after I am gone. I would never plug the wrong thing in what I got now but I am going to upgrade it anyway as suggested here.
Planning on getting a four wire outlet and new number 6 wiring cable . My conduit would be the ground where I could tie the 4th wire ( ground ) making sure I connect the other end on welder to frame of the machine. The conduit and ground terminal in the disconnect are bonded as I checked them with my meter.
I would do the same with drill press.
Would I then be safe ?
