I'll state right off that my garage isn't fancy, no super high ceiling or built in lift.
It is but a humble 2 car garage attached to a four bedroom ranch....it gets the job done!
A major issue my Wife and I have is with me tromping though the dining room, (the garage door enters into it), and into the kitchen to wash my hands.
I apparently leave a dirty finger nail brush, stains in the sink, soap, etc, etc, etc.
You guys know the drill!! "get that icky grease out of my kitchen" or similar comments.
I've got a kitchen in the basement against the garage wall, hmmmmm how hard would it be to.........
So I had a small wall hung bathroom sink. Trouble is, no empty wall space to hang it!!
I simply traced around it on the formica work bench (a old recycled kitchen counter I picked up on the curb on junk week in town) and cut it out. Set the ceramic sink in the hole and VIOLA' !!!! Hook up a few pipes and I've got a basic hand cleansing station!
I picked up a bar faucet with the high spout so I can slip an antifreeze bucket to get water for radiators and such.
Needless to say, it isn't pretty but it was FREE and it WORKS!!! YES!!!!!!!!
It needs a bead of caulk around it and life will be good.
Dave
PS I guess if I've really really REALLY gotta go.....maybe a urinal as well ??
