I'll state right off that my garage isn't fancy, no super high ceiling or built in lift.

It is but a humble 2 car garage attached to a four bedroom ranch....it gets the job done!

A major issue my Wife and I have is with me tromping though the dining room, (the garage door enters into it), and into the kitchen to wash my hands.
I apparently leave a dirty finger nail brush, stains in the sink, soap, etc, etc, etc.

You guys know the drill!! "get that icky grease out of my kitchen" or similar comments.

I've got a kitchen in the basement against the garage wall, hmmmmm how hard would it be to.........

So I had a small wall hung bathroom sink. Trouble is, no empty wall space to hang it!!

I simply traced around it on the formica work bench (a old recycled kitchen counter I picked up on the curb on junk week in town) and cut it out. Set the ceramic sink in the hole and VIOLA' !!!! Hook up a few pipes and I've got a basic hand cleansing station!

I picked up a bar faucet with the high spout so I can slip an antifreeze bucket to get water for radiators and such.

Needless to say, it isn't pretty but it was FREE and it WORKS!!! YES!!!!!!!!

It needs a bead of caulk around it and life will be good.

I also took an old wall hanging sink, mounted on a back wall.
Ran a drain outside behind the garage. And until I run water to my Garage (Detached)
I built a shelf and brackets above the sink, it holds a Hinkley and Schmitt Water bottle on it. I added a Brass valve to it, and a hose runs down to the sink.
At least I can wash my hands and stop leaving fingerprints around the light switch that leads downstair to the slop sink, where i used to wash up.

I've been wanting to put a sink in my garage for some time now. I'm thinking a small SS bar sink will work perfect. Just have to find a free one now and get it installed!

Although I don't have hot water in my garage, I do have a sink/toilet. A sink in the garage is almost priceless whrn it keeps the house from getting tracked in.

Give it a month or two and I'll bet the wife will comment on how nice it is for you to have that sink out there.

We had to trench 250 feet to get water to the shop. Kind of a pain,, but worth it! I use a laundry sink and added a small, electric, on demand water heater. Wont keep up with washing vehicles, but works great for small jobs and cleaning up.
