Serious question. What will this do that my $15 HF won't? I've yet to actually use the HF one I've got, so I'm genuinely curious.

I have both the HF compact 1/4" grinders (that one you linked), as well as their full sized ones.
I'll start out by saying I really do like my HF grinders. They're a fantastic bargain!
However, the compact 1/4" die grinder is not all that powerful. I really only use it with 1/8" shank tools for that reason (also, because mine came with the 1/8" collet in addition to the 1/4" one). And most of my 1/8" diameter tools really work better when spun faster, so I only use it on my cheap set of 1/8" steel shanked carbide head aluminum cutting burrs that I found were not safe at higher speeds (i.e. in my turbine grinders where I only use solid carbide tools).
My full sized 1/4" carbide burrs really need more power than that compact grinder can deliver. The full sized HF grinder does have decent power, but I'm hoping that this has even more.
edit: and I just opened mine up. Holy hell this thing feels solid! I'm ready to cut a tank in half with a die grinder now. And if it doesn't work, I'll make a good lump hammer.
