My order is in! Your Order #100001611 (placed on October 31, 2015 9:48:21 PM CDT). A 24" 1/2 breaker, because a 30 won't fit in my toolbox, a couple wrenches to fill out sets, some clearance 1/4" cushion grip screwdrivers, and other random stuff (Craftsman micro screwdriver set for 1.75, wire rope slings, and aircraft awl, and clutch head screwdriver because I don't have one:bounce:). Thanks to the awesome crew at HJE!:)

Finally broke down and placed my first order for a 3/8" drive socket set I've been eyeing for months. Slowly replacing a foreign set with high quality stuff!

Be warned, it's a slippery slope.

Look at some of the Bonney stuff HJE has on close-out, if you aren't particular about matched sets you can get some good tools for less. No warrentee of course, but most folks won't have a problem.

I made it! Totally forgot until I saw this thread. I grabbed a few things quick on the ride home just so I can help the cause. I don't entirely remember what I ordered so at least I can be surprised. I did get the metric and fractional T handle allens.

Order number 100001633

I saw those too. Not U.S. made AFAIK, but I think I'll be picking them up one day as well.

Your order # is: 100001647.

Got in under the wire! Thrilled with everything I got last year, looking forward to this year's haul!

That 30" 1/2" breaker bar is gonna fill a hole I've had for a long time---a big, honking breaker that sells for less than tool truck price, but above Chinese junk price.

Order 100001646. A little trouble with the shipping option, but I'm sure it'll be easy to sort out.

Glad to be apart of this this year too.

Just barely got my order in. I was planning to place the order after tonight World Series game expecting an hour and a half to spare but it continued into the 12th. I don't think Jori minded at all, especially after the Royals made an amazing comeback and won the series :D

In honor of the Royals winning the world series, I'm going to extend SK Day through Monday. I had a real busy weekend in Austin, and then back in KC watching/celebrating the Royals, so anyone else that didn't have time to get to a computer, you've got one more day.

Meanwhile, we are busily going through the orders and will have updates for you guys in the next day or so.

thanks again

Who are the Royals?:D

Go ahead, Stretch a one day event into four days....

However, when the dust settles can you post a state of the SK day thread wherein you post how many orders there were, what the three most popular items ordered were (i'm thinking long breaker bars), and maybe how much money Garage Journal members spent? ok, that last one might be classified but, still worth knowing.:dunno:

I'm off to AAPEX and SEMA to complain to the people manning the SK booth about why it's taking soo long to get my metric x frame set. I hope SK Day was a bigger success than previous years and the Epstein crew works hard to get as many orders as they can out this week.

Just off the cuff I would say that we're looking at around 100 orders, roughly averaging $250 per order. The most popular items were......drum roll please......the breaker bars. Not much of a surprise there.

In terms of comparing it to last year, it was smaller, but we are just as happy. Honestly, this year will be a lot easier to deal with so hopefully everything will go much smoother.

I think everyone should be real happy with their participation and with Garagejournal for another successful SK Day. Thanks for doing this! It is greatly appreciated!

On the plus side, everyone (no matter what your order size) is getting a t-shirt, and we will also have them available on our website by the end of the week.

We did run out of the power banks pretty early though so people that ordered early and qualified will be receiving the power bank and an SK stocking cap (beanie). People who missed out on the power bank will be getting the coffee cup and water bottle. They are real nice so I hope you guys will like them.

Everyone here in KC is stumbling around in a sleepy buzzy daze after last night, so we are going to have to drink some coffee and get to work. Thanks again!

What coffee cups do you have available? Pictures?

Great work guys. Sounds like roughly half the size of last year. 25k in a weekend is still good work.

Now I'm excited to see how SK handles this order rush. I'm optimistic after last years mess they will come through for us this year.

I have been using these huskys I got at depot. I think they are great, but a little on the short side. The SK looked longer so I ordered the metric and fractional.

Ach! Too bad.

I've actually got an S•K franchise truck (roughly) in my area. Maybe they'll have them as promo items.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I'm completely bummed. I spent the last five days working 16+ hrs a day finishing up a build for SEMA and this completely skipped my mind. :(

Have you tried on the beanie? I got an SK one a few years ago and I swear it's kids sized. I have a really small head 7 1/8 and it is too small.

I got one from last year and thought the same thing as well. I'm 7-5/8 and it would not even cover my ears. I did get another one this year and it seems the newer batch is better; however, still a tad on the small side.

They extended it through today! You can still spend an inordinate amount of money! You haven't escaped yet! :p

So... if every purchase gets a shirt now does that mean I can go buy a thumbwheel ratchet and get another shirt? Or buy 6 individual sockets separately and have an SK day shirt for every day of the week? :p

Order 100001663. Coming in a bit late, had to shake down the money tree real hard this time.

Just did a last minute order. Thanks Jori for extending the deadline.
Thanks to SK and HJE for putting this together again!
