Anyone get any new socket sets from Epstein's lately? Wondering on what the quality was like? Was chrome good?

Next time I'm in Kansas City, I plan to visit HJE
Have never heard any thing bad bout them. They do have a sale here almost every year.
Every annual SK day thread has a few unhappy souls that have been unhappy with the interior finish of their sockets, chrome peel, or maybe a wavy wrench or two from stamping. My take is that if you buy tools to actually use, you'll have no problem with SK. However, if you buy tools to collect and polish, SK may not be the brand for you. SK isn't jewelry. They are tools meant to be used hard and put up wet and greasy. The grease hides the scratches and minor imperfections.
From my contact with the current SK and what I've seen here, they are all over warrantying old stock with no problem.does sk warrentee wrenches from the 80's ?
