Imagine if you had no job and were scraping by by being a tool flipper on eBay, and the life you live as a result. That's the type of person doing such things, be thankful for what you have.

Same goes for people who show up at flea markets with all the Lowe's and HD closeouts. You're going there to find a bargain, they're going to there to live life. Let them be.

Great way to look at this.

It is much easier to get through life with that type of perspective.

I just used the CS contact form on their web site to send them a positive note on the way this was handled. Thought they should know if they're not monitoring this thread that a) responses are positive and b) I'm a fan and will not only wear the hat but recommend the tools if asked.

My eldest helped me open some packages just now.

The wrench makes me reconsider their product as my next wrenches.

It's nice to see the sheets of newer product announcements. I didn't like seeing them drop the pilot bearing puller several years back, or the 3870 ratchet. But I believe they are thoughtfully pursuing marketshare via product and that's great news.

My package came today and I really need a 20mm stubby but I got 3/4 instead. Letter states 20mm sample wrench but no 20mm for me. I guess you can't complain about free.

It appears that number of you were bait and switched. WTF??? They advertised a free hat and then set out different (cheaper) hats. I want that fancy hat they promised.

If this is indicative of how they plan to do future business I'm having second thoughts.

I got a hat, catalog, and wrench at my door today as well.

Also, some very nice marketing materials, an advertisement for some convenient tools I was unaware of, and a sample of SK wipes!

They also sent a nice apology letter in regard to the delay. There's really nothing to apologize for, when you are giving out a free item. It was amazing to find a nice wrench in there.

They even referenced Garage Journal.

The other hat went out of production. Big deal. I've still got an SK hat, and this one is cool too.

I really like SK tools, and I'm happy to have received some fun stuff from them.

Got a notification from UPS that there's a box out for delivery today from SK Tools! Awesome to see a company go above and beyond to get their name out. I only have 1 SK wrench so far, but Will definitely add more to my collection as the need arises. I'll gladly support a USA company that offers great customer service!

Received mine yesterday, i was shocked to see the wrench in there. Then they have the nice letter in there mentioning garage journal, very cool.

Man that wrench is a beauty, looks like they have their act together. I bought some extensions awhile ago, none were great. I think the worst were old stock before the new ownership. This wrench makes me want to buy more. Thanks sk!
