I‘ve got some automotive specific bolts that are rusting, that I’d like to replate back to factory. Years ago I tried the Eastwood plating system and it performed poorly (being kind). Does anyone know of any home plating system that works decently for a very small batch process?

Do some reading starting on this page - This guy does really good work at home and does his own plating.

One of the Project Binky epsiodes was devoted to at home plating of auto fasteners.. been a while since I watched it, but I remember it being in depth.

Caswells, if you want to throw money at the problem.

There must be a thousand videos on YT on home plating. I've done a fair amount of nickel and tin using easily available materials and chemicals.

I use the Caswell Copy Cad setup. But infrequently enough I hafta re-educate myself on it whenever it's pulled out. Power supply is kind of complicated. I'm impressed by how long the plating looks nice.
