Alrighty, lets get this started! I purchased my home in So. California just about a year ago. My job takes me all over the world and unfortunately, I am not home alot to mess around with the place, but I finally got to do what I always wanted so here is my renovation.
This is the state I purchased it in. It was built in 1964, and it was never touched. All original, bare studs and not much more...
I had moved alot of my stuff into it, just to get things going, but I knew it had to change. Lots of clutter and unorganization due to lack of storage.
Went out, bought the drywall and all the goods to get it done. Here is right after I got the first wall hung
Second wall hung, I didnt get a pic of the third wall hung but you get the idea.
Taped off and compounded. You may also notice that i hung some more shelving rails on the right side wall.
Turned myself into an antique and dusted pretty much everything in my garage and driveway with the ol orbital sander. Luckily, the seams and screw holes looked good enough to spray some texture and prep for paint.
Paint should be on the list to do tomorrow or the next day... Hope you like what you see so far. Keep posted for changes!!!
