so i had a nice clean pintle hitch from a old gm square body truck or blazer i saved from years ago . then i had a old chuck of solid 2x2 from a old weight dist hitch the head was bad on i scrapped a friend gave me . i hit up my buddy who is a machinist and he had a cut pile of stuff and i found some 3/4" plate just the right size . so i marked out were i needed some holes and radius the corners .
here is the end result between his help and my ability's . burned it in with my lincoln power mig 216 220v mig and bolted it on with 1/2" grd 5 bolts and stover lock nuts . bonus is this will be a 6" drop or raised hitch since the pintle is a swivel unit .
