Picks, pencils, calipers, DMM, bits, mirrors, grabber, magnet, allen sets, mini screwdrivers...

More that I'm not recalling. I have 12 small drawers - all full.

One marked "Sharps" has box knives, razor scrapers and such

"Staplers" has my staple guns, hammer stapler, spare staples, ....

"Measure & Mark" has tape measures, T-Square, pencils, pens, ....

Of course the Kennedy Machinist box (those narrow, thin drawers) has a lot of small stuff in it. SAE Tap & Die set gets one, Metric tap & die gets another one, allen wrenches get their own, easy outs get one, misc taps and drill bits gets another, ....

Basically I group things and if I have a "small" group it gets a shallow & narrow drawer. I thought about putting my socket sets in the narrow/shallow drawers by drive but couldn't figure out where to put the stuff that was already in them.

Pick sets
Security bit sets
Pliers
Elec. crimp tools
Glues, anti-seize and dielectric grease
loose taps in a tray
scissors, tweezers and utility knives
O2 sensor socket kit
Jeweler micro-screwdriver kit
Small MAC ODBII code reader

I like the small drawer for things that are sharp, things that are squishy or breakable or small things in sets that do not have a case or are in a tiny case.

If tossed in the mid size drawers, they may get damaged by larger tools, and if tossed the the bottom dwr (aka the black-hole or the junk-drawer), they will be forever lost forcing you to rummage around like a squirrel looking for walnuts. Inefficient and unorganized.

Small related collections that all fit in one little drawer like:
1 - easy outs;
2 - allen keys;
3 - ignition tools ie: points files, feeler gages, color tune
4 - cylinder/brake hones
5 - circlip pliers
6 - torque wrench, impact drivers
7 - electrical test instruments
8 - sheet metal cutters (deep drawer)
9 - strobe light (deep drawer)

If it's the one on your Avitr, good luck. I hated my old Husky with those tiny top drawers. Depends on what you have and how you have it set up. I use one for fuses and electric little things. Another has feeler guages and stuff like that.

Since I sold my CM set up, I don't raelly have any small drawers in my longer roll cab. I put either smaller tools or tools I had a small amount pf in this smaller drawers.

Here's a few pictures of how I had it set up with the old CM's.

I gave up on small drawers. All my boxes have as large a drawer as I can get.
For years I would have a dozen or two tiny drawers, each with something very specific half filling the drawers.
Went to as big a drawer as I could get and have not missed the tiny drawers a bit.
