Very nice vise, and for $20 a good deal! Thanks for sharing.

I haven't decided on colors yet.

Well done Herb. That vise looks awesome. That's a great idea for the detergent jug. I wonder if you can use paint in them. Maybe one red one gray?

Herb,
Love the vise. The dishwasher basket is a good idea. I kept the plastic silverware organizer my wife replaced a few years back and use it out in the shop, it comes in handy. I put wrenches in a slot, screwdrivers in another, etc, then when I go under a vechicle to work on it everything I think I need is in it.

I had shop time today and wanted a First Aid Kit from out the ones I already had. I found a metal one, cleaned it up and painted it. I also had some other canidates (army ones) but they are plastic and not what I wanted where I wanted it. The white one in the photo already mounted in my back shop. There is nothing of much use in an army first aid kit, or as they say it "Kit, First Aid, Vehicular", so I kept some gauze pads and put in a new box of bandaids.
...I could use a station like this, especially 4 weeks ago.

Thanks for stopping in on Shorty's Shed. I need to read through your thread since so many others comment about it and we have similar taste in colors (Texaco).
I did come across this post and thought about how much I could use a station like this, especially 4 weeks ago.
Hey Shorty, you could have used a bit more than a few band-aids - like maybe an ambulance standing by.
Sorry for the intrusion on your thread Herb, but I couldn't help myself.![]()
I've always enjoyed peeking in on your thread Herb! Gearing up for a little trout fishing myself, gotta go scratch that itch.![]()
