I like that sliding channel system idea. My Menards uses that for thier retail racks with bins of nuts and bolts.

That's one of the big 48" racks. The price for all of them was right

. I actually still have another bin, but this should be good for now. All my nails and wood screws are stored in thier boxes in workbench drawers, these will be for bolts and misc hardware items. The bins are stable when fully loaded, but I used the shelves to help pin them in place. If you stacked these cabinets directly on top of each other, make sure you bolt/pin/attach them together since they are prone to sliding. Another thing, don't go too high with these, otherwise you ahve to get a step ladder or pull the drawer out to see inside.
