Anyone have a copy of an owner's manual for a Series 2000 or KR7100 series box? Or know how to program or change the locking code? My box is still set to default code and I'd like to change it.

Help me GJ, you're my only hope.

Anyone know the official name or another series of box this lock was on? Might help my Google-Fu.

Call snap on customer service they have an archive of manuals on file, they should be able to email it to you.

I sold my 2000 Series a few years ago with the full instruction manual, but I made copies of it. I mailed a copy to a GJ member a while back who had the same issues. Never heard from him. Anyway, I will look and see if I still have the lock instructions. If I find them I will send you a PM.

Follow up. I found the my instruction sheet for changing the combination on the 2000 Series Sanp-on tool box. The default code is correct as in previous post. If your still interested in a the info, send a private mail to my email address, and I will follow up with you. I don't have means to copy and put it on the site. I can try to take a picture of it, but the print is pretty small on the instructions sheet, so I don't know how that will come out. Sorry to make everyone wait. Note: There is NO information on how to open them w/o some type of combination be entered.

Hello,
I have just acquired one of these but the bottom box is locked. They gave me the combo but it doesn’t seem to work. I feel pretty dumb for asking but, how exactly do you enter the numbers?

Read the above listed instructions in post # 12, that should help. These locks can be a little finicky, so make sure you move the un-lock knob a little prior to pushing in the buttons.
