is this the date code ? If so , when is it from ? Can’t find this on the chart either

Did you look at both 6's and 9's on the chart? Is there no mark under the select lever?

I did , but they are all funky 6’s and 9’s. Not normal numbers like this. Yes , nothing at selector switch

Anyone able to give a review on using these? I picked one up at a garage sale but one tooth is broken off the gear. Kind of like it though as it's a good size for my hand. Trying to decide if it's worth buying a rebuild kit

I‘m not sure a rebuild kit is available for these ratchets. I purchased a similar undated SV-71A at a Tahoe moving sale in 2018 after using it to unbolt a vise from a workbench. It hasn’t seen much use since then but I seem to recall it being a little coarse due to the low tooth count. I also have a 1944 dated 71-N with a similar action.

They're good as long as you don't have any small spaces. Rebuild kit is same as the old 1/2 ratchets with round handles. They are available but I can't remember if I had to ask for round handles kit or if it was listed on the bag too. Should be able to find more info on here regardless though searching 71M.
