I have a chance to buy a brand new BRA7180VEM for $3200 out the door. Worth the money? What are some comparable compressors of different brands?

The new Quincy machines are not what the old ones were. Look at the component specs.

Well the snap on man came back today and I scored the compressor for $1900 total. I'm quite pleased with it myself.
1900 for a 1300 dollar compressor. Interesting. Reminds me why I don't visit the Snap-on Truck. I guess if you are a pro and you feel you need that insurance in a name I can't fault you. There are other tools you could have spent far more money on. I wonder what Cost is on that if Home depot can sell something similar for under 1300 bucks... Dewalt brand even, http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-80-Gal-Stationary-Electric-Air-Compressor-DXCMV5048055/204068487

Great buy I'd love a snap on I missed a deal on a smaller unit for half price from some tool site but it was a 1 day sale.
I'm buying a 25 gallon Craftsman professional twin cylinder oiled with 150 psi max it's $200 from a pawn shop I got it inlay away till next week it looks brand spankin new. All I need is a small one to run my impacts and air hammer and a couple 1/4 air ratchets I had a smaller one I just sold it did all I needed but the cut in was too low and it was old tank was rusting onthe I side so the time bomb had to go sold it to my step dad whom I hate hehe.
sounds like it went to a good home. My dad bought a 60 gallon from wal mart 25 years ago and it still works like a champ. Never had any sort of maintenance.
