Snap-On Counselor II MT3000A Okidat Printer Model OL600e

I just purchased an Okidata OL600e for my MT3000. The onlt selection for a parallel printr is the Snap On printer. I select this printef\r, says my Okidata is on line and out of paper. I put in paper, select print and the Okidata starts wiring and twerling but no paper comes thjroug. The MT3000 says printer error, consult printer manual.

Is there a method for me tro add the printer drivers for my printer?

Counselor II user manual does not indicate that OL600e is compatible with it. Then how do you even know that the printer you purchased is even functional? Drivers for the printer are pre set on the the eeprom on the communications board, there is nothing you can do there, other than use what snap on wants you to use.

For example: • HP Laserjet and Deskjet printers accept the 75 DPI graphics format. • Some Epson printers accept the 72 DPI graphics format (05 hex). • Other printers may emulate HP 72 or Epson 75 modes. ✓ Some Epson printers use the 05 hex graphics mode. If your printer does not use 05 hex, it cannot be used with the scope. Refer to the printer's instruction manual to determine if it will accept 72 or 75 DPI format. Sounds to me that the printer is getting the command. Does printer work with other devices?

The Okidata OL 600e is listed in the service manual for the MT3000A but it does not show up on a MT3000 screen choice. I purchased a MT 1670 Scribe, got it today and hooked it up.
Shows paper jam, probably because there is no paper in it.

It won't show it as an option, only the 1670 and scribe 2 3010 is there . Weren't you looking for for mt3100 4 gas internal unit to the cabinet? There is one on ebay now.

Have you checked that the printer can emulate the HP 72 or Epson 75 modes and, if so, then check the setup menu on your printer to see if it is set to do the emulation?
