Earlier in the thread someone mentioned feeding their family. We've all heard the stories about how difficult it can be to run a tool franchise. Imagine a tool dealer rolling into one account after another where there are more and more tools he didn't sell. At some point he's going to call the home office to complain. If enough calls come in Snap On would be wise to do something about it to protect their franchisees and protect their business model.
I like getting Snap On and other tools at discount prices on eBay. I also understand if SO does what they feel is necessary to protect their business.
Fall, if you're ever on the East Coast and see a Wegmans supermarket, stop in and try the sub shop. Great sandwiches!
