First off, I have to say that I am really psyched to have stumbled onto this forum. I'm currently in the middle of planning a career change and will be wrenching full time come this fall. It is great to see that there are a lot of others out there that are passionate about their careers and hobbies and enjoy discussing them in their free time. It also just so happens that I have a tool fetish that needs to be sated on a regular basis.
So anyway, down to business...
I've been doing a lot of research and am putting together a shopping list. My biggest goals are to buy quality tools that will one; last many years of daily use, and two; increase efficiency and productivity as much as possible. I know that I want some new snap-on ratchets but am currently debating between the Dual 80s series ratchets with the 4.5 degree action and the high strength sealed ratchets with the 10 degree action. I know that many of you use these tools on a daily basis and am hoping that you can give me some feedback.
Thanks,
Pete
