What is the differences. I can't seem to find any, and there is a pretty drastic price difference for me (student discount). Is it pretty much a buy whichever is cheaper? Thanks
Heritages are 18" deep, Classics are 21". Masters are 26" and Epiqs are 30" (drawer depth, the dimensions of the box frame is not very important)
Buy the most expensive box you can afford, you will run out of room very soon, unless you work in a dealership that only service one brand.
Classics are 24" deep, not 21". Master can be had in 24" or 29" deep variants.
No it is not. The box is 24" deep, but usable drawer depth is only 21".
4 digit Masters are 26" deep, 3 digit Masters are beefed up Classics, both at 21" deep.
For the last time, dimensions of the box frame is completely irrelevant. Nobody cares how big the boxes are, its the usable drawer space they care more about. You can always make room to fit your box but you cannot make more room in the drawer to fit your tools.

Of course drawer depth is smaller due to design. Nobody talks about or compares boxes on interior depth.
Get the classic, you will be much happier with it. Plus, school should give you a certificate allowing you to trade it in at full list price value towards a masters or epiq box when you are ready for a bigger box.

Do Tekton offer any student discounts on those cool looking toolboxes?
That would be my pick if I started again
