Ha-ha...I never said there was a clearance section. I did say that they had some dealls in there. The buy one get one is always in there. Deals on the ratchets are in there every once in a while.

It is what it is!

Just an FYI, the Hot tools is different for each region of the country. I believe that Snap-on has the country divided into 5 regions.

didn't know that. What is in your October hot tools. I would like to compare it to mine.

I have not opened the box yet. My new truck is supposed to arrive either tomorrow night or Saturday morning. I have been holding off putting ANYTHING new on the truck this week because I plan on transferring all of my inventory this weekend.

Just out of curiosity, what makes the 3 piece bronze punch set (PPBL30AK) worth $164.95?

I have a set that I bought new many years ago for about 1/2 that, and couldn't understand then why it cost so much.

Other than the "Because it is Snap On" answers, is the bronze itself that expensive, or is it a special alloy? The heads on mine mushroom just as easily as my MAC brass punches.

I just wondered what the BOGO was.
Was the wrench BOGO the same as the one they had online ?
The one at the website was buy an extra long set and get a free short set IIRC.

Yes, it was. Usually when they are doing that, they put it everywhere to make sure they go through the sets. If they didn't sell out of them, you'll see that exact set on the website for full price of both sets.

I meant that the BOGO, when SO has one going, will always be in the flyer. Not every month.

One thing about the flyers: I've only seen them on occasion, but the last few months, it's seems like you only save $10 or so on an item. Not really "hot" screaming deals...

People should realize when looking in the flier that most tools in there are at regular prices, very little in there for actual sales.

Caper is correct.

Lot's of times, the deals are only 10-15% off. That's it. The best deals are usually the BOGO deals.

I did how ever pick up a 4850 1/2" impact gun for $425 for my bro in law. That was a decent deal, but I think that was from the dealer if memory serves me correctly.

not anywhere around here for 45 bucks. maybe industrial prices

I suppose you've seen the latest Flyer? There was a guy over in the Classifieds who said there was gonna be a special on the F80's at $45, Not sure if he meant Industrial finish or Chrome. But I think he said "He seen them in the Newest or upcoming flyer" Not sure because his post was deleted as was mine.

My snap on dealer said yesterday that the next month's specials were going to have a deal where you buy a 1/2" dual 80 ratchet you get a 3/8 free. He said check with him week after next and he would have the info. Anyone know anything about that? In Chicago if it changes things . . .

Nice...I see the KRL 1023s and the EPIQ's are being pushed...but still don't seem like much of a deal, if any.

Canadian flyer has dual 80's 1/2 but the pricing was the same.

How's that deal work on the bit set trade in? Are they USA made?

Works like it is described in the flyer you get $100 off the set for each competitor bit socket set you trade in (for example a set of torx, a set of hex, etc.) or $8 off for each individual bit socket you trade in. You can get up to $300 off the set in trade-ins. Keep in mind this is not a cheap set at all it is $713 IIRC so $300 off would make it $413. Now what brands you can trade in is something you'd have to ask your dealer. I plan on getting this set next week when the Snap-On man comes by the shop. Also this set is USA made and is VERY high quality (as to be expected of USA made SO stuff).

That bit set looks nice except I would rather have them on a rail, the case takes up too much room. Is that the chinese Snap On Hammer? I hope they dont sell any and it sends a message that Snap On needs to stay US made.

Well I have misc. mismatched sets and most are older MAC, MATCO sockets.

Almost forgot I also have C-man hex sockets. Maybe I can trade em all in for that set.

You should be able to. I think whether you can trade in the cheap stuff like northern or harbor freight depends on the region. My dealer said that they will let him take the cheap ones in for trade in on this deal because in my area there is a heavy saturation of harbor freight and northern stuff.

Holy ****, the Heavy Duty Mobile Workstation (two drawer roller cart) is only $2254.20 if you finance at $14.45 per week.

Is this a great deal or what?
