Snap on k60 tool box

Hi everyone,

Found a k60 snap on tool box . It's missing 2 knobs for the side drawers any info or leads to finding these would be appreciated. Dose this box have date stamp ?
It's currently in transit but I'm just wondering if I will be able to determine exact year of production. Thanks in advance.

Finding parts is hard to do but you've come to the right place to inquire.

The handles are the correct color. They have not been repainted. My K260 set has black handles as well. Your box is a late production model based on the badge that's on the box. Earlier examples had the diagonal dash Snap-On badge. Late 40s is a solid estimate of the age.

Here are the pics you asked for. One is the lock up front and the other is the locking mechanism behind the door.

I'm missing the front panel and lock on mine. They drilled the top to remount the handle and name plate. Yours sure looks nice.
