I posted this in the vintage toolbox thread, but since posts tend to get buried there, thought I'd post it here as well. This is a Snap On KR 562E I picked up the week before Thanksgiving. 1984 date code. This taco box has been repainted at some point with a darker shade of paint. Not a bad job. I've taken all the drawers out of the box, cleaned and lubed the slides, replacing some where necessary, and put it all back together. All the drawers slide well, though some a bit better than others. This one has ball bearing slides on the bottom drawer of the side, but all the other drawers are friction slide.
The inside of the ball bearing drawer had a lot of surface rust so I cleaned that up and resprayed Sunrise Red which came out nice, but havent made up my mind about repainting any more of it. Right now it's in excellent usable condition.
