Hi All,
I have been researching and planning to do an upgrade on my work toolbox.
I have a thread on GJ discussing my latest "plan"
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=232479
Now this box came up on the classifieds here along with a CL post from a nearby area. When I contacted the seller/did further research and found the CL post I discovered the asking price was $1950....too rich for my blood....now the CL search turns up and the price is lowered to $1450....which is alot more than my proposed budget at HF.
I am not going to even try to compare the two,I realize they are in different quality zones for comparison. I know the Snap On is a better box.My question is is there a market for the top box? My ideal plan is to have a large, flat work surface with storage below.
Is it reasonable to assume I could sell the top box and get closer to the budget of $800?
