So I need to figure out what would be the best way to have the KRL7022 strap down for transport in the trailer. I was mulling having these install by a shop, but wouldn't really know which location would work best, and if it will possibly damage the integrity of the box. Any thoughts?

How far of a move are you making with the box? I've moved my KRL a few times and just ran ratchet straps over the top and screwed 2x4's in front/back of the casters (each trailer/straight truck had a wood floor/deck). I put some carpet squares on the top and sides where the straps touched and protected the box really good.

Ah, got ya! That's a very nice setup! It seems like something without casters on the bottom would be great to keep it planted, but I'm sure someone can brew up some great ideas.

I prefer these type of swivel tie downs personally. http://www.etrailer.com/p-RR06.html

Not sure if you will ever have this moved around on a fork lift or not, but if you will make sure whatever you do it is flush mounted.

These are great for the trailer, which is what we have installed. I'm actually looking for hardware to attach to the actual box, these would be too big.
