The Bahco is closer to SO than the Williams, feels smoother. The Williams feels more durable though.

Are the Bahco's and Blue Point's the same?

Anybody use the Gear Wrench? You get the regular, stubby and tee handle in a set with bits for $65

I own one, the only difference is the rebranded tools dont have a knurled shaft.

Re a Case/John Deere/Cat rebrand: don't worry about a lack of knurling, use heat shrink!

They go on sale often, and they're decent quality.

I still love my Williams WRS-1. I didn't even know the Case/IH version is cheaper than the Williams!

The blue Williams ratcheting screwdriver is exactly the same and is much cheaper. I think the part # is WRS-1. They also have the t-handle versions in black at like almost half price. The 4"one I bought a while ago was around $30.

I wouldn't say EXACTLY the same. Cat, Case and the like that used to rebadge a SO ratcheting screwdriver now are rebadging the williams version. Differences are the knurling on the shaft, texturing on the direction control collar and the SO handle is square where as the williams version is more like a reuleaux triangle in cross section.

Doesn't look like the rebadged ones I'm used to - they're IDENTICAL besides the name.

I'm not sure when but I think it was fairly recently that Cat and the like changed to the more williams version. I recently picked up a few of the old style Cat branded ones and they are exactly the same as the SO version with Cat instead of Snap On lettering. Square handle, knurling and all.

I love my Snap-On ratcheting drivers, but one thing I hate is when I set it down and it wants to roll way.

No. I have the hard handles. The magnetic tip gets pulled down on my steel work bench leaving the contact point at the round adjuster on the handle.

I have that happen too but mine doesn't roll much? Or it just hits a can of PB50 or something along those lines.
