Is it just mine or do all of these 1/4" SO ratchets not actually lock the socket? My common use THRLF has pretty much gotten to the point where its weaker than a non-QR as far as retention goes and my seldom use TRF/TR72s also let you pull the socket right off without touching the button.
Its not my sockets, tried Snap-On, MAC, and SK and they all do it. Looks like they designed the QR mechanism in such a way that when the ball is forced down the button also auto-depresses. Basically its worthless.
3/8 and 1/2 drive are unaffected. I was going to get a second THRLF and one of the new THRLLFs but now im on the fence.
