Snap on Techangle fault

So today i was torqueing down a cyl head and my wrench stopped vibrating and would flash battery and go off, obviously iv tried batterys and the connections in the cap all look in good order? Has any 1 any ideas or is it going to be a snap on repair? Thanks in advance folks

Do you have new TA or the gray handle ones?

I have all 3 older TAs; never had an issue. If you tried multiple batteries then it's safe to say it's the wrench.

Mine would keep resetting to the last vavle set and it ended up being an endless cycle because it would always reset to 160 after a torque or two. I sent it in
I can't recall the cost, I stopped paying attention to my SO account along time ago.

If its the grey handled ones, 3 of our workshop lads have had odd issues in the past, battery issues ( not flat ) zeroing during degrees of angle, so ya dont know where ya ment to be. They all ended up back with snappy and rtnd but they have all lost confidence in them

Its an old gray handled one im also begining to loose trust in it though i really miss it when its not there!

Had a guy at the shop drop a hood on a 3:8 grey handled one did that every time u bumped the head against something after that had to send it snappy

Im getting the same problem.... I do a few bolts at 155 degrees and it blinks off and comes back on at 150lb torque. I have to start over and its ******* me off!!!! Anyone knows the solution?????

Is it a 3/8" drive tool?
