Guy's you can break into the box using a 5/16 rod or fuel line about 40 inches long. First make a 3/8 inch long bend in the line. Pull off the plastic cover on the top, take the rod and run it behind the top down the inside edge. There is a lever there in the middle that you can pull or push over that will open the drawers on the top box. remove the drawers take a small wedge of wood and pull out on the edge of the top a little to give you a little more working room. You should be able to see the back on the lock now with the drawers out and a flash light. hopeful your is like mine and you will see a small collar on the shaft there is an Allen screw in it, remove it and slide the lock bars off the lock.
Now the bottom is a little harder, now take the rod whit the 3/8 end bent and make another bent the other direction, you want that 3/8 end to point to the back of the box when you sliding it in. Note look at how the top box lever action works, you'll be doing the same to the bottom box with the rod.
Take a big screw driver and push it in the top drawer just enough to get the rod in. Use a flash light look at where the rod goes that comes out of the lock, move it to the left and you will see the end of it. OK if you look close you see a rod that runs across the back, just above were the lock rod ends. you need to get that rod under the rod going across the back and turn the end of the rod to pick that rod up.(your rod should look like a backwards L). that rod in the back pulls up all the lock channels in the back of the box.
Now take out the drawers in the bottom.
Now you can remove the locks and recode them, if you don't know how to do it contact me and I send you the info to recode them.
Once you done this you can do it in about 3 minutes first time takes a little long to make the tool and to find just where thing are. If you work with people like I do you learn these thing because they break in and change you code when you off sick.
If you want to drill them out I have that info too. But Snapon wants $250.00 each for the lock. but you can get them cheaper through Kaba Access control they list for around $140.00.
