I bought a black krl this spring, my boss got a red krl 2 weeks later, I wish I would have got another color. his box still looks good but mine looks like hell. black is to hard to keep clean. every finger print shows on it and when you try to clean it it streaks and looks worse. Plus every scratch sticks out.

I probably would've picked black or dark red if given the choice, but I got my yellow KRL722 new for $2200. Now I love the the color :) Plus, I actually like the fact that I can see grease marks on it. I used to let my old cheap box get filthy. Now, since dirt and grime is easy to see, I just take the 30 seconds at the end of my shift and wipe it down.

As far as "last box you'll buy" goes... Maybe the main roll cab. I've had my box for 6 months and I already need a top box. I'm sure the side locker will be needed shortly after.

If you hang around here for any length of time you'll be eating those words sooner rather than later!:lol_hitti
Personally I think Snap-on red never goes out of style!

I agree, I've been turning wrenches for 24 years, and have been eating those words for a while! Red would be my pick as well. I have a friend with a black box, and has to constantly clean and dust it. Looks good when it's clean for about 30 minutes.

Top 3 choices in order

1.Blue
2.Black
3.Red

There is a heck of a nice looking Orange one in my buddy's shop though. It has all the Chrome goodies on it, wheels, stainless top, trim kit, bumpers, etc... So i guess #4 Orange. But I can't say I'd love it in 10 years though.
