I recently started collecting some older and vintage Snap-on catalogs. I know I'm not alone but didn't see a dedicated post so I figured I'd start one. My collection is pretty small compared to what others may have but I pick them up when I see one for a decent price. Feel free to add to the post, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has.

X denotes Export Service Division, 19 Moore St, New York City, U.S.A.

I believe this is the first list to Include Metric and Whitworth tools.

And I believe this coincided with SO being first marketed in New Zealand largely based on the finding here of sockets dated no earlier than1937

I have catalogs 100 thru 1000 except 300 which was the 75th anniversary edition. Could use a catalog 200 to replace my worn out one. 200 is the catalog where half the pages are one direction and the other half are inverted which requires the reader to flip the catalog end for end.
Also have a few older 1980's and a 1973 catalog plus one or two over 1000

Do they release a catalog every year? Or is it possible they skip some years?

I can't speak to modern practice, but they did not publish a catalog between 1942 and 1945, going from Cat "P" (on Feb 1, 1942, just after we entered WWII) to Cat "Q" (on Dec 15, 1944, near the end of WWII) without one. Similarly, they skipped 1951 and 1952 during the KW, going from Cat "T" in 1950 to Cat "U" in 1953. Less explicably, they also skipped 1924 and 1949.

I have never seen a 1996 catalog.....I wonder if one exists. The 1995 catalog was HUGE....so maybe that is why.

Correction: Per tin medic, who owns catalogs from 1951, TR & TD, the TD catalog was only available if you requested it through SO's Direct Mail Division and he believes the TR catalog may only have been available to dealers. Dang those sneaky SO peeps for sneaking in second letters, and my bad for extrapolating. Going back to my WWII foxhole now!

I have never seen a 1996 catalog.....I wonder if one exists. The 1995 catalog was HUGE....so maybe that is why.

Catalog 400 has two copyrights, 1995 and 1997

Catalog 300 is the 1995 75th anniversary, but I don't have one to confirm the copyrights on the inside cover
