As I understand it the Williams brand is Snap on's industrial line. If so, what is the difference. Is it just the finish? Do they carry the same warranty?

Things are changing. Some items are the same, some are very close and some are quite different. Design, finish and COO.
Has williams always been part of Snap on??
I've heard that some of Snap-on's older stock get relabeled as JH Williams (e.g. 2013 Snap-on tool X becomes 2015 JH Williams tool X). Any truth to that?
Williams ratchets are the equal to the older snap on 936 series.

The reason I brought this up was that I acquired a Williams 1" wrench and I can not find another to compare it to. It may be old but it is NOS.
AceofSpad3s, They are nos, they were in the tool crib where I worked and were never issued out to anyone.
On another note, Ideal Industries bought SK tools and built a new factory about a mile away from me. I don't know anyone who works there so I don't know if that is their only factory or what they make there.

I don't think sockets at the same at all. Williams is made in Taiwan?
