I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find the return mailing address for warranty issues with a Snap On F726 ratchet I have. Any body willing to help me out? Thanks in advance!

What has the success rate been? Do they give you a hard time? They take a while?
I can see people sending in tools that they left outside and expect replacements.

I have tried to ship my broken tools back to the Snap On HQ; they were rejected and accompanied by a letter explaining that I need to turn these back in to my local franchisee for replacement!

Anyone else had this happen?

You can no longer simply mail them tools in a box without proof of purchase or an authorization over the phone prior to mailing. They will flat out reject them otherwise. Kind of a downer but the honor system was being severely abused so this is the result.

Yep. That last time I had to return something they gave me a RMA type number to put on the outside of the box.

Why is it a downer? Just call them with part numbers and they will set you up, I have done it at least 6-10 times with no problem. Can't say how they respond to boxes of stuff though, my calls have always been less than 3 or 4 things at a time over the past 2-3 years.

Feedback from the forum is that SO is still pretty good with mail in warranty requests IF you call first and IF the quantity is small.

I believe it also helps if you have an online buying history/account.

If they happen to tell you to go thru a dealer then tell them, "I no longer have a dealer, please give me the phone number of the district manager?"
