I would skip the dealer and call snap on customer service or whatever their warranty branch is. Because they warrantied a ratchet I had from the 40s. They sent me a brand new ratchet free shipping and I didn't have to return my old one.

MAC will warranty discontinued ratchets. I sent one in and they sent back the modern equivalent. (which had less teeth but a longer handle).

I bet SO would warranty it if you call/email them and talk to a customer service rep. SO warrantied an old deadblow that crumbled and fell apart on me. They mailed me out a new one and told me to toss the junk one. Then they mailed me a different size deadblow by accident, and when I called them they told me to just keep it!

I then took it in and she gave me $40 credit on it towards a new 72 tooth round head. $30 + the $5 in the old one, and I had a new 72 tooth 3/8" ratchet.

Which SO 3/8 ratchet was round head and 72 teeth?
