My grandfather was an ASE master mechanic and worked for 14 years. He doesn't use his tools much anymore but still has his Snap On and Mac and USA craftsman stuff. His SO ratcheting screwdriver is really worn out and I offered to have it replaced for him.
I would like to have it done in about 2 weeks, because he retired on June 4th (forgot the year). I would normally ask my driver, but he is out on vacation for about a month.
What is the best way to have it done, can i send it in, will I have to pay shipping? I also don't have proof of purchase.
What can I expect if I call SO and ask to warranty my grandpa's old screwdriver?
Thank you for all responses.
