Hi,
Thought id give people the heads up.
I'm moving jobs this week and as part of it i had to move my box, which meant taking out the drawers to lighten it so i could lift it.
So taking the opportunity of it all being out and in bits i gave it a once over and clean.
It's a 40" KRA bought in June brand new. I found like many others several parts of the box interior that hadn't been painted - mainly the lock mechanism at the rear of the box.
I have found another fault however.
EVERY drawer is missing paint on the bottom of it around two holes and smack bang in the middle. I'm guessing they hang the drawers on hooks when powder coating them and the powder doesn't get under the hooks. On my box every single drawer was missing paint in the same 3 spots - obviously a manufacturing issue.
Bare steel is going to rust so get the touch up paint out.

Not the dream car, but I personally had plans, and needed as much of my income as possible. I learned to like my tools for what they were, and I was okay with it. Maybe one day I will treat myself to a Snap-on, or maybe a Hazet set... when I have money to burn on a want...... something I enjoy.
